Twenty Postive Things About Me
Hello! So things around here (at the time of writing) have been super hectic and stressful, so I read somewhere that it’s good to journal about some of the positive things you like about yourself. Now, you know me - I’m generally an open book, and I thought what better place to write something like this, than in my "All About Me” Section of my blog. That way, you get to know me a little better too. Just remember, what I say to be a positive thing about me, you might not agree, and that’s ok :) That’s why we’re all different.
I’m a planner. I’m articulate, organized and I like to know what’s going to happen before it happens.
I’m stronger than I ever realized. It’s amazing what you can handle when you’re forced to go through something (chosen or not).
I can heal myself using my thoughts and affirmations and focused intention. I am a spiritual being who turns to nature, crystal magic, and the universe to help me on my journey.
I believe I am changing the world by releasing beauty, and creative, thought-provoking content into the universe, and I’m challenging my followers to live their best life through goal setting and planning.
I’ve learned to focus more on things that I can control. I still worry about things I can’t, but I’m slowly learning to release those and let them go.
Every day, I believe that something magical will happen. I think that each day is full of potential and possibility and that anything can happen.
I am me, and I’m good enough. I love who I am even though that hasn’t always been true. If other people don’t like me, it’s not my problem.
I accept that I’m not always right. When I’m not, I always admit it, because it’s OK to be wrong. I also accept that I am one voice out of billions. It’s OK to be a small part of something really big.
I prefer to stick to my comfort zones, but occasionally, I will peak my head out of the sand to challenge (or scare) myself.
I’m overly critical sometimes, but I enjoy playing the devil’s advocate so I always see 360 degrees and I try to see all possibilities.
I like to pay for people behind me in the drive-through occasionally, hoping that they will pay it forward to the next person.
I an a huge journal-writer, and I have over 100 hand-written journals since the age of 9.
I feel like I have a beautiful spirit, and if I was an elemental spirit, I would be wind.
I believe that my intuition is the best armour and I usually can hear/feel it like it’s my best friend telling me what I should or shouldn’t do. I trust myself.
I have one best friend. I don’t overly enjoy crowds of people. I prefer personal, intimate conversation over a party any day.
I think that if a job isn’t done well, it’s not worth doing. I feel great guilt if I do anything half-assed, so I always go back and do it right.
I have two university degrees, and I’ve never had a job in either of those fields. I learned something very valuable still - the art of motivation and will power; to be able to complete something that takes a long time and a lot of work.
I believe hope is the one thing that sometimes gets me through the really rough days.
I have three kids. Being a mother is the greatest joy I’ve ever had, as well as the greatest sorrow. (It might sound cliche, but it’s true).
I love what I do in my work - I love that I created something all on my own, and all of my own. It’s like I created it out of nothing and I’m proud to say that I did that.
Thank you for your support in reading this today.
Love,
Sandra ❤️
