Janes Agenda Masterplan 365

There’s something that I’m super stoked about and I feel like I need to share my thoughts and excitement. Jane from Janes Agenda is hosting a personal development Masterclass Training for an entire year! At the time of writing, the training has not yet begun - it’s scheduled to start April 1, 2024. By the time this post goes live, it will be almost the end of May, and I will do a follow up post to let you know how the course is going. (If you’re interested in the course, go to Janes Agenda on YouTube and check out her introduction video). In this blog, I will share the details of the program and why I’m excited!

So, March 18th, 2024, Jane shared that she was changing the way she did her Masterclass Mondays. Prior to this, Jane would share her wisdom on a planning topic in a live video on YouTube, and then share that information in a blog post each week. Going forward, as of April 1, 2024, there will be a year’s worth of videos (“classes”), from April 1, 2024 to March 2025. Each month Jane will pick a new topic, and each week in a video, she will cover a micro-topic in that field. There will be a schedule for the entire year which we can upload into Ical or our google calendars.

On the introductory live, she discussed that she will have inserts (to purchase) that will greatly help with the “course” material. These are completely optional of course, since you can simply write notes in a blank notebook or a blank page in your planner.

There will also be a book club. Jane has selected books, one per month that will help us understand the topic better. The titles will be given all at once, so that you can feel free to collect them whenever you want. However, Jane has warned not to read ahead, because then you won’t get the most out of the discussions later on in the Facebook group. These books are not provided of course - we need to purchase with our own money and/or get them from the library. Kindle is also always an option, however, I think I will purchase the physical copy as I want to make notes in my books just as Jane suggested she was going to as well.

The Facebook Group for Janes Agenda is going to be a prime source of information, and so Jane recommends that you join so you don’t miss out on anything. Besides for information that Jane posts on it, there will also be a community of people whom will be discussing the topics and sharing ideas.

Another added bonus is that Jane will be conducting a monthly zoom call where we can meet and also share ideas back and forth; discussing our goals and ideas about productivity and other planner-related subjects.

I have to say I feel like this came at the perfect time for me. As per my blog post from last week, I feel like I’m always fighting against the clock every day - I want desperately to work on my personal development, but by the end of the day, I’m exhausted and I drop into sleep like a water-logged sandbag. So, despite my goal of studying something in personal development three times weekly, I hardly ever meet that goal. I do find time however to watch Janes lives on Monday. Mind you, I’m usually multi-tasking, and I’m doing something else at the same time. Regardless, if I can find time for it, then I’m going to fit in time during the week to get the work done.

Each week, after the live on Monday, Jane is going to give out “homework” that is related to planning, productivity, or personal development. We have the entire week to work on it before the next live, and we can use the inserts that will be provided for us.
