Social Media & Business Planner Setup for 2026
Hello and welcome back! So I have talked about changes that I was planning on making to my business planner for the year 2026. In previous years, I was using a mix of Franklin planner and Janes Agenda. For 2025 I used a Janes Agenda Junior Disc Planner. While it worked, I found it to be super bulky, and hard to always tote around with me when I needed to work.
Then I had a great idea. I have a collection of Melodies from Planners Anonymous. These are convertible planner covers that can be used for a number of systems - travellers notebook, 6-ring binder, coil book, disc bound system, or even just a regular bound book. I had been collecting these Melody Planners for a number of years. When they were sold, they generally were sold in two sizes - classic Happy Planner size and B6 size. I loved the idea of B6 size and collected seven of them over the years. The last one I purchased was from the Planners Anonymous Facebook Buy and Sell site. This is the one I’ll be using for the start of the year, and the one that is featured in this blog.

2026 Business Planner
Another thing that I love about my new system is that I’m using a variety of systems/ planner companies products. For example, the Melody itself is from Planners Anonymous, the discs, dashboards, dividers and some inserts are from Janes Agenda (mini size), and my content and stats will be mainly Planner Perfect. I’m also using inserts from TheListLab.net for business.
First of all, I’m in love with the smaller size. I think that this will be so much easier to cart around when the need arises. Also, I do like the more decorative aspect of the Melody compared to the plain covers from Janes Agenda. I have seven Melodies to switch out throughout the year which makes me happy - I get bored quickly and the change helps me maintain motivation.
The pretty decorative planner also motivated me to want to decorate more in my business planner. Previously, I had only changed out dashboards and quote cards, but now that I’m also in Planner Perfect books, I want to decorate the pages like I do in my travellers notebook Planner Perfect system.
As a matter of fact, when I set up my monthly calendars for my January 2026 setup, I went ahead and completed the whole months’ worth of weeklies. I realized that when I film, I don’t have a specific day to film my business setup. Going forward, if I continue in this fashion, my Franklin video will be shorter and I can focus more on just that one planner.
One of my challenges is that I have a bunch of Janes Agenda two inch discs. I love the colors and I don't want to have repurchase new ones. The size is a bit too big in the Melody, especially along with the Planner Perfect books. Ideally, I would use the disc bound system like normal, and be able to put the Planner Perfect books on the strings in the Melody. The large discs prevent this, so instead, I tuck one of the books into the front cover and one sits in the back of the Melody.
Planner Perfect Six Month Agenda
As for the books I have included, I have a yearly plan book which will encompass my stats, goals, and monthly and weekly reviews. The six month agenda will contain my content plans, both on the monthly calendar and the weeklies. I have a third B6 sized notebook, but it is simply a lined journal from Simply Gilded. I will either use this as a business ideas notebook, a business commonplace book or a business journal. (Or, maybe all three!)
As it stands, I’m very happy with my new setup for this year. If you are also a content planner, this might inspire you to have a cute little setup for yourself as well!
Happy planning!
Cheers!
Sandra
